Indeed the feelings of being a pioneering industry in a country may lead to the formation of the ultimate incentive for development and improvement for industries anywhere around the world.
The first soap-making factory was established in the city of Isfahan, in the central parts of the country in 1928 in the face of all prevailing difficulties and odds. The factory, on offering its product to the market, gave it the brand Sublameh soap.
The factory went on functioning for thirteen years in the City of Esfahan, and then in 1941, it was transferred to Tehran in order to expand its productive programs.
Later the company started to produce other hygienic and cosmetic products besides soap bars.
Finally in 1957, Darugar Company was included in the list of fully registered companies in Iran.
Ever since that year, the company has been offering its products to the domestic market under the brand name of Darugar.
The company is not only the founder of soap manufacturing industry in Iran, but also is the pioneering manufacturer of laundry detergent in the country.
The measure was first taken when a noticeable increase was put into effect in the company's paid-in capital though the participation of a few reputable foreign companies.
In 1973, Company's name was changed from Darugar to Kaf Corporation limited and development of new products at the company never paused for a break. The fact that the company managed to market laundry detergent along with a dishwashing liquid soap under the brand name of Rika simultaneously was regarded as a great achievement at the time.
What makes the products highly amazing that Rika dish washing liquid soap has survived on the market to this very date.
